Very nice and visually appealing. I really like the enemy graphics and names. I'll admit that it took me a couple of combat turns to figure out the targeting. I thought the selection boxes on the enemies were just strange and I didn't notice that the turn order was changing for the party. I didn't notice the portrait highlight changes at first. After I figured that out, it went more smoothly. But that is a me problem since I am not that familiar with RPG Maker style combat. Some interesting mechanics that I want to explore more myself. Very nice.

I don't see a Download Button for this one.

Because there is not one... It is a browser play deployed game. No DL needed

After many people had complained about the game freezing midbattle, it was decided to return to the executable version (See devlog) Hope you take a moment to try it out how it was meant to be ^.^

It's a cute game that screams Christmas is in the air. The graphics are nice and I like the story too. I wish I could find out how it ends.

The gameplay is all about grinding for some items, and it would be just fine if you could at least get a sense of how many items you have grinded so far. But since there is no way of knowing (at the time of writing this), after about 23 minutes I called it done.

I think if the developer gives you a way to view the amount of these "key items", the gameplay would be more fun.

Did you play the DL version or browser version?
I had added a little reminder before letting the player loose in the forest in the latest upload... The Snow Merchant will also remind you 5 of each symbol. So if you had not played the version that was uploaded before 23 hrs ago as of this post... that is probably why XD

Fun games ! the art is cute too
Though did snowball power scalling from the user stats?
because sometimes it deal large amount of damage, and sometimes it just deal zero damage

and, is that a vampire from touhou ?

and after this, my entire party was wiped out in single attack...

Oh no! I am sorry the straggele tore the party apart!! Yes the last monster is scaled to double the players stats with more HP. The snowballs are based on the users attack. And no the Imp (all the sprites)  was generated by the MV generator and details added by myself to match the bust art. But about that Straggele... Sometimes it will be hard sometimes a push over. I suggest saving before the battle either way, just in case. Thank you for playing!! I will try to work on it's spells though in the meantime because they are a BIT op lol. (Literally just the same spell as the players)

This is a cute and fun little game. The zoomed in look really works here. The maps look good but the critical path can become obfuscated a little bit but otherwise the maps are beautiful. The art is consistent, cute, and pleasing. Battles felt balanced really well and were pleasurable. I wasn't really sure what to do after awhile, like, do I just keep grinding? Is there a path or object I'm missing? Does it end or do I just grind enemies in the forest endlessly? I have no idea, because I stopped playing a little after the 20 minute mark. I was unsure if to keep going or was I missing something and in the spirit of the jam being short. All and all, I enjoyed it. The storyis done well, graphics and presentation are great and very polished for a jam game. You really leaned into the theme and I'll pick this up again and see if I can find the end this time. Really well done job!

THANK YOU! I have updated this since you played so please take a moment to play the newer version :) I am glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun little challenge!
